Inter Miami CF

Three Takeaways From Inter Miami’s Insane Draw vs FC Cincinnati

Fort Lauderdale, FL –  Inter Miami can’t capitalize on a Gonzalo Higuain hattrick as they drop two points in a 4-4 draw against FC Cincinnati. Offensively, the Herons looked great in what was perhaps their best-attacking game all season.

Defensively, on the other hand, was not ideal. What was normally a stringent defense gave up too many goals for comfort.

In the post-match conference, Phil Neville even mentioned as much:

With only a handful of games left in the season, dropping points at home isn’t good for Miami’s playoff hopes. With that, here are three takeaways from Miami’s draw vs FC Cincinnati.

Invest In Defense This Winter

Inter Miami has done a great job at revamping their roster.

Acquiring players such as DeAndre Yedlin, Robert Taylor, Leonardo Campana, etc, has given the club new blood in what was a stagnant 2021 roster. Nevertheless, there’s still room for improvement.

Christopher McVey has been IMCF’s iron man. The 25-year-old has played every minute of the team’s 2022 MLS campaign. He’s been solid, but, he’s been asked to do a lot positionally. Looking at Miami’s match against NYCFC, it’s clear that McVey looks the most comfortable playing as a center-back.

Throughout the season, mainly due to injuries to Kieran Gibbs, the Swede has been pushed out wide to left back. Last night’s game vs Cincinnati showed that there are some weaknesses there.

While McVey has done a serviceable job at that position, it may be time to invest in a lockdown starter this coming winter.

MLS has a myriad of capable left backs that could fit into the current role McVey occupies. Miami could trade within the league for a starter, then slide McVey back over to his preferred position to partner next to Damion Lowe. Of course, this would all happen heading into 2023, but it’s something to ponder as the 2022 season comes to a close.

‘Coco’ Makes His Debut

After a month of waiting in a hotel room in France waiting for his visa, Corentin ‘Coco’ Jean finally made his Inter Miami debut. The Frenchman came on in the 80th minute to much fanfare. Although he only had 9 touches, Jean got the game-tying assist on McVey’s wondergoal:

Higuain In-Form

Is Gonzalo Higuain back to his 2021 best? It appears so! The 34-year-old has scored five goals in his last four matches displacing his ‘replacement’ Leonardo Campana in the starting eleven.

His performance against FC Cincinnati was historic.

Higuain is the first player in Inter Miami history to score a first-half hattrick. The 34-year-old’s budding chemistry with fellow Designated Player Alejandro Pozuelo looks promising and electric, filling the creative void left by Federico Higuain’s retirement at the end of 2021.

Pipita’ looked lively, relaxed, and stepped up when IMCF needed him the most.

Though he’s rediscovered his form, it must be said Higuain’s contract runs out at the end of the season. The club does hold an option to extend, but, given his hot and cold streak this year, would it be wise to return the former Argentina international? Or should the South Florida club continue their rebuild without him, bringing in fresher, younger players that fit their current direction?

MLS is a league where it’s advantageous to have youth in and within your squads. All of the league’s leading goal scorers are under the age of 30 and four of the top five are 25 and younger.

It remains to be seen what Chris Henderson will do, but these last 12 games of the season could be a decent indicator of what happens in 2023.

Miami Hurricanes

Miami Hurricanes: Abram Murray gives program piece of mind at kicker

The Miami Hurricanes were able to get a commitment for the 2024 class as Abram Murray committed to the program on Sunday night.

He is the top kicker in the class of 2024 according to Kohl’s Kicking Camps. He most recently took an unofficial visit to Miami on June 11, and the program offered him that same day.

What can he bring to Miami Hurricanes?

This is a massive get for the Miami Hurricanes as it helps solidify the kicking possession. This adds depth to the kicking position, with Andres Borregales holding it down at the position right now. Having Borregales in the fold assures that Miami will have a strong kicking game for the foreseeable future.

Murray has a very strong leg. He is able to use his strength and accuracy to make the most out of his kicks. He has a solid follow-through and plants his legs well when kicking, which allows him to have a solid base. Murray is a complete player in terms of his skill set, and he will be a nice option once Borregales leaves. Murray is certainly no slouch, and is worthy of his ranking as one of the best kickers in his class.

This is the second commitment for Miami in what is a developing but promising 2024 recruiting class. He is the second commitment, along with cornerback Antoine Jackson. We have seen the work Miami has done in the 2023 class. I’m curious as to what kind of work they will get done for 2024.

Special teams is a huge component of the game. I personally would argue that it’s often overlooked. Getting a guy like Murray to come to the program is massive. Stability at a position like kicker is hard to find. Finding a good college football kicker is also extremely difficult. Now, Miami has has two, with Murray waiting in the wings.  It’s all about depth, and Miami is building it at as many positions as possible.

Mets easily sweep Marlins: 5 Takeaways

The New York Mets (64-37) came to town to face the Miami Marlins (47-55) in what felt like a one-sided series.

Not only did the Marlins get swept in the three-game weekend series, but to make things worse, LoanDepot Park was flooded with Mets fans. It felt like the Mets were the home team and with nothing much for Marlins fans to cheer about through each game, there was nothing they could do to drown out the “Let’s go Mets!” chants that echoed throughout the ballpark.

I don’t blame Marlins fans for not showing up to the stadium though. Why would they spend the extra money to watch a losing product on the field? Until some major changes start to happen and the Marlins win consistently, the fans won’t show up and support.

It was a disappointing weekend for the Miami Marlins.

Here are five takeaways from the series.

Trouble For Sandy

Marlins right-hander Sandy Alcantara pitched Game 1 of the series and he didn’t look like his usual self.

The Marlins actually gave Alcantara run support, something that hardly occurs, and produced three runs in the bottom of the first inning.

But that 3-0 lead didn’t hold for long, as the Mets answered right back in the second inning and scored three runs of their own. The Marlins did score another run of their own in the second inning to regain the lead, but a home run by former Marlin Starling Marte in the fourth inning tied the game at four. Alcantara would eventually pitch the fifth inning but shortly after, his night was done.

Alcantara finished the game pitching five innings and allowed eight hits, four earned runs, and three walks. He also posted five strikeouts.

The Marlins’ ace had his worst outing of the year and the only thing that I can think of that explains why is that he had faced the Mets four times already this year. Because New York’s offense had already seen him a number of times, his stuff isn’t as deceiving as it normally would be against any other club.

It seems as if when Alcantara is on his game, the Marlins fail to produce runs. But when Miami does score runs, Alcantara has an off night.

Mets Offense Too Much To Handle

The Mets lineup is good. Like really, really good.

It felt like Miami had no idea how to get New York’s hitters out. And if they did get someone out, the next guy in the order did damage.

Marte was a double shy of hitting for the cycle against Alcantara in Game 1. That’s when Miami could guess that they were in for a rude awakening.

Over the three games, Mets hitters had an absurd average of .339 (39-for-115). They also averaged 6.3 runs per game and had 18 extra-base hits. If you’re the Marlins and you know that you’re on the brink of a possible wild-card spot, that cannot happen.

“Every guy seems to fight you,” Marlins manager Don Mattingly said about the difficulties facing the Mets. “There’s no really easy outs up and down that lineup. It’s a battle to get through there.”

If the Mets can hit like this now, imagine how they will be after the trade deadline. There were some rumblings about a possibility of acquiring catcher Willson Contreras from the Chicago Cubs. Plus Jacob deGrom is making his 2022 debut this week, so there’s no doubt this team will be scary.

Leblanc Excels In Debut Series

Marlins third baseman Charles Leblanc made his MLB debut on Saturday and he made his name known on both sides of the ball.

In the seventh inning of Game 2, Leblanc made a spectacular diving play on a ground ball hit in his direction and he threw to first base just in time to get the runner out.

During the two games he played in, Leblanc went 3-for-7 (.428 BA) and hit a couple of doubles. He was the only player in Marlins history to record a double in each of his first two MLB games.

On top of that, Leblanc hit his first career home run in the bottom of the sixth inning during Game 3.

“It was a blacked out moment, I don’t remember much,” Leblanc said about what he felt during his first home run. “I saw something over the plate and that was it.”

In Triple-A Jacksonville, Leblanc had a .302 batting average and an OPS of .884. He also had 14 home runs and 45 RBIs.

Marlins fans have been begging for the organization to call Leblanc up to the Majors and you can see why.

Why Did Miami Start Pablo?

All week, right-hander Pablo Lopez’s name has been swirling around the league as the trade deadline draws closer.

Many people assumed that because of Miami’s current situation, Lopez would be on the move as soon as the front office received a deal they liked.

“A deal that really helps us has to present itself,” Marlins General Manager Kim Ng said about Lopez’s trade situation. “We’re not out there looking to move Pablo (Lopez)…but we’re listening on all fronts.”

Because Miami had yet to make a move with Lopez, he started Sunday’s game against the Mets and looking back on it now, I’m sure the front office surely regrets throwing him out there.

Lopez had without a doubt his worst start of the season. By the top of the third inning, all nine Mets batters had a hit. Lopez finished his brief afternoon with 2.2 innings pitched, allowing six earned runs and a career-high 12 hits.

Lopez’s trade value has in all likelihood plummeted and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Marlins just hold on to him and not trade him at all. If the front office didn’t like the returns they heard for Lopez earlier in the week, they for sure won’t like them after his performance on Sunday.

What Exactly is the Front Office’s Approach?

What is Ng and the Marlins organization currently thinking?

Surely they would be sellers, right? Apparently, that’s not so easy to tell because we haven’t gotten a clear-cut answer as of now.

Starting Lopez just a couple days prior to the trade deadline looked suspicious. Why risk having a player like Lopez’s value go down when they can trade him while his value’s high after a spectacular outing against the Reds earlier in the week? Maybe Lopez has been a player that Miami has been planning to keep all along amidst the trade rumors. But why keep him when his contract is set to expire by the end of the season?

“I think the objective is always to try and better yourself,” Ng told the media about the team’s objective heading into the trade deadline. “I think where we are in the standings…I’m not sure whether we’re going to be a clear buyer or a clear seller. I think it’s a little bit more complex than that.”

It’s obvious that Ng doesn’t want to reveal the team’s exact plans to the public, but given that they are eight games under .500 and have around a 1.5% chance to make the playoffs, it would be surprising if they buy at the deadline. We’ll see what the Marlins do in the next couple of days.

The Marlins will try and bounce back from this brutal series as they face the Cincinnati Reds (40-61) for a three-game series from Monday through Wednesday.

How Bam Adebayo Can Be Unleashed in a Different Dimension

The ball grazes off the rim and into the big man’s hands. From an early age, the center is taught to come down and immediately search for his point guard to flow into transition or set-up the team in the half-court.

Yet when you evolve into a 6’9 big with guard skills, like Bam Adebayo, it becomes time to shift the narrative a bit.

We often discuss the things on the surface for Bam, who is heading into his sixth season. The spots on the floor to operate in the half-court, a potential growth in post-up play, possible expansion to the three-point line, or the famous one, the individual aggression jolt.

But as Bam Adebayo was playing in the Miami Pro League last night with guys like Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, one specific play got me thinking about something that I harped on a ton during the regular season last year.

Just take a look:

Strips the ball, bolts into transition, and eventually soars up for the dunk down the middle of the lane.

It’s always a conversation to find Bam in spots to be a successful scorer for himself, but could a minor part of that just be over-utilizing himself after he gets the board? Or better yet, when somebody else gets the board and he leaks out?

A common phrase I’ve used throughout the season was that he’s much faster than any opposing 5 matched up with him. They simply just can’t keep up with him, and more importantly, that mental edge does wonders for Bam in the midst of things.

The reason I say that is because Bam Adebayo is a rhythm player. We often think of deep range shooters like Max Strus or Duncan Robinson as rhythm players once they see one drop, but Bam is by far the biggest link to that on the team.

Once he gets going early in games, he’s hard to stop. Just go back and re-watch game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals from a few months ago, where he led Miami to a win in Boston because of that early searching.

Plus, that led to his aggression on the break…

Wait a second, that looks pretty similar to the clip I showed from the Miami Pro League.

It’s not a coincidence though. It’s just his offensive formula.

We actually saw a bit of a transition surge from him in the regular season, since he scored 1.20 points per possession on 15.9% frequency.

For some context, the season before he scored 1.14 PPP on 11.8% frequency. That jump in volume should be credited to Kyle Lowry in many ways, since he was the igniter to get Bam moving in those spots, just as he would race to the baseline for a quick inbound every single play.

The Miami Heat as a team were bottom 10 in fast-break frequency, but I truly believe it’s more important for the team to have a highly efficient Bam in transition than the team as a whole.

Now when focusing in on the skill element of this, it’s pretty clear that an improved handle heading into this year would be very helpful for this type of thing.

We know he can move faster than others, and finish at a decently high level when barreling down the floor, but the worry would be that it could translate into a turnover problem. If that’s not the case and he could keep the ball on a string, they really have something.

When looking at some of the clips above, there’s no doubt he’s most comfortable when getting to that right hand. He’s pretty athletic around the rim, which may get lost in the mix when discussing Bam, meaning he has a variety of takeoff spots inside the lane on the move.

Looking at the Toronto Raptors last season, this exact process was picked up by Nick Nurse. The roster was full of athletic bigs who could put the ball on the deck, which led to them developing a bit of a grab and go system for anybody on the floor.

That’ll never be Miami’s offensive system, even if Lowry checks into that at times on the fly, but I believe it could be Bam’s system in a way. The entire goal for him as a player is to find angles to allow him to play freely. They’ve found openings as a roller at times, but the hand-off and post-ups sometimes led to a tensed up version of himself.

Playing in the open floor, though, is the way to get him loose as a scorer.

To add on, it doesn’t have to be narrowed down to baseline to baseline stuff. Looking at the clip above, possessions like this could be even better, right as the ball crosses half-court.

Even if he doesn’t fully become that above the break shooter, he can still be used above the break in motion. It’s all about finding ways to get him downhill, and the natural pressure of an unsettled defense may be the way to go.

Twenty seconds on the shot clock, Lowry swings it to Bam who finds himself on the right wing. Montrezl Harrell doesn’t have time to place himself into that deep drop, leading into a blow-by for Bam for the easy lay-in.

With Miami possibly entering the season with an all-in bet on internal development for the time being, Bam Adebayo will be the guy to watch. If he can elevate high enough, it’ll make all the difference.

Finding ways to turn him up a notch, and this could potentially be the kick-start to that.

Marlins split series vs. Reds: 5 Takeaways

The Miami Marlins (47-52) split the four-game series against the last-place Cincinnati Reds (38-60).

It was an up-and-down four-game stretch for the Fish, but they rallied in the end and found a way to win the last game to split the series.

The Marlins have not been playing the way they wanted to and I’m positive that they are not happy with splitting a series against a poor Reds team. They should’ve won at least three out of the four games, but the offense hit a wall during the bulk of the series and their pitching couldn’t win them games on their own without having enough runs on the board.

It was a tough Game 1 as the Marlins lost 11-2. Game 2 was better because they won 2-1 but then the next day, they fell 5-3. The offense finally woke up in Game 4 of the series as they won 7-6. But this theme of inconsistency keeps showing up throughout the season. At the end of the day, how can the Marlins be a consistent ball club?

Here are five takeaways from the series.

Trevor Rogers Likely Getting Sent Down

It was a dreadful outing for starting pitcher Trevor Rogers.

Rogers went just 3.2 innings, gave up eight hits, and allowed six earned runs that led to a Marlins loss in Game 1. To make things sound worse, he did this against a Cincinnati Reds offense that ranks in the bottom-third in baseball in batting average and runs per game.

The struggles for last year’s All-Star have reached an all-time high and given how his outings have been all season long, it’s likely that the organization will send him down to work on his mechanics and get back to his form from last season.

Rogers’ velocity is definitely there, but his slider and changeup don’t have the same amount of depth as it did a year ago. Plus, a couple of starters on the IL, Jesus Luzardo and Edward Cabrera, are nearing their returns to Major League action, so it gives the Marlins another reason to pull Rogers from the starting rotation.

Joey Wendle Hits Everything

Marlins utility player Joey Wendle had himself a series against the Reds.

During the three games he played, Wendle went 5-for-14 (.357 BA) and had three RBIs. Wendle now has a batting average over .300 (.303) which is a great sight to see for an abysmal Marlins offense.

Wendle ended his great play this week with a go-ahead RBI double in the ninth inning to seal the victory and give the Marlins a series split.

“When Joey’s (Wendle) on the field, it’s been great”, Marlins manager Don Mattingly said about how valuable Wendle has been for the team. “He plays hard everyday and he’s a great example for our guys with the way we want to play the game.”

Of course, like many of Miami’s best players, there’s the question of whether or not this was Wendle’s last week playing for the Marlins. We’ll find out soon enough.

Pablo Lopez Found A Groove

Starting pitcher Pablo Lopez has probably made his last start with the Miami Marlins. But, at least he went out with a bang.

The right-hander pitched through seven innings of work and gave up just two hits and one earned run while striking out 11 batters. The 11 strikeouts by Lopez matched his career-high in a game.

After his last outing against the Rangers where he gave up five earned runs in just five innings, Lopez found a way to bounce back and have his best showing of the season.

“It had been a while,” Lopez said about the last time he’s felt this good on the mound. “It’s one of those starts that you really need because it reminds you that the work we put in between starts really pays off…it was a good start to build up from.”

It’s uncertain if this was Lopez’s last start with the Marlins with all of the trade rumors up in the air, but if it was, he definitely made it a good one.

The Young Guys Show Out

Marlins outfielder J.J. Bleday made his debut last weekend against the Pirates and he’s been nothing short of what Miami’s been hoping for at the plate.

His numbers on the stat sheet won’t jump out at you, but if you’re watching his at-bats, they’ll tell you that he’s “just” missing his pitches. It’s probably what explains his low batting average in Triple-A (.228).

On the bright side, Bleday was able to hit his first career home run against Reds All-Star pitcher Luis Castillo in the fourth inning of Game 3.

First baseman Lewin Diaz has been nothing short of impressive during the series. Diaz went 3-for-9 (.333 BA) and had three walks. He showed great patience at the plate for a young player and his 6-foot-4 frame makes him a great target to throw to at first base.

Right-handed reliever Huascar Brazoban looked terrific in his outing in Game 3. In two innings, he gave up just one hit and racked up five strikeouts. Brazoban made his MLB debut on July 24th against the Pirates and he’s been a great asset for an injury-ridden bullpen.

Marlins Are Probably Sellers

Given that it’s impossible for Miami to reach the .500 mark before the trade deadline, it might be safe to say that they will look to be a selling club yet again.

Even though the Marlins are just a few games out of the final wild card spot, it’s too tough of a task to clinch it at the end of the season with all of their injuries and inconsistencies with their play on the field. So, the front office might not want to take that risk and ship their most valuable players in exchange for young and talented prospects.

As of now, the players with the most value that teams are keeping their eyes on are Lopez, first-baseman Garrett Cooper, and Wendle.

Other names to keep in mind from the bullpen are right-handers Anthony Bass and Dylan Floro, as well as left-hander Steven Okert.

The Marlins are desperately in need of a center fielder and shortstop. They don’t have any of those positions in the minor leagues that will be ready by next year. Interestingly enough, a report by the Athletic came out and mentioned that the Marlins “have not stopped calling” about Pittsburgh’s All-Star center fielder Bryan Reynolds.

At this point, we don’t exactly know what general manager Kim Ng and the front office have planned out. All we can do is let it play out and see what the organization really believes this team can achieve for the remainder of the season.

The Marlins come back home to play the New York Mets (61-37) for a three-game weekend series from Friday through Sunday.

What You Should Know About Online Gambling in Norway

Whether online or offline, gambling is a popular hobby among different people across the world. But, there are some things you should know before beginning your gambling adventure in your residing state or state where you are traveling. First, you must review the gambling laws to ensure that you are not in contravention of any rules.

If you are a regular online gambler traveling to Norway and residing there, you review the gambling laws in this North European country. Luckily, we have compiled this detailed guide about online betting in Norway to simplify this jurisdiction’s often misunderstood gambling rules. So, let us look at everything you need to know about online Norway Casinos.

History of Norway Casino Online

Gambling in Norway has been legal since 1902. Its main gambling law being the 1992 Gaming Scheme Act. The state has the strictest gambling rules in the European region. For one, the entire gambling industry in Norway is under the Government. It has two gambling monopolies, which are:

  • Norsk Rikstoto for horse racing
  • Norsk Tipping AS for casino games, sports betting, scratch cards, lotteries, and instant games

Take note that there is an exception to this rule. Non-profit organizations with a social benefit or humanitarian purpose can get a charity gambling license. But, it is illegal for private corporations.

Online gambling is also legal in Norway. But, the Government outlawed gambling on offshore gambling sites in 2008. Later, the Government went further ahead to ban credit and debit cards to offshore sites. But, it does not enforce these prohibitions to date. As a result, many Norwegian players prefer gambling on these offshore sites. Furthermore, there is a wider game variety, more attractive bonus offers and promotions, and many other perks.

The Current Norwegian Online Gambling Market

As mentioned earlier, the Government controls betting in Norway. But since the two state-owned monopolies do not meet the needs of their players, most of them resort to gambling on foreign sites. With so many options, these gamers must find the best new casino that offers their favorite online game. Luckily, several websites can help you review and compare different websites, helping you select the most suitable one with the best games.

These professional sites will help you lok through various factors to ensure that you make the best decision for your gambling needs. Some of the factors they consider include licensing and leaglity, bonuses and promotions, available games, customer support functionality, safety, and mobile compatibility, among many others.

As a matter of fact, many legit foreign gambling sites have accepted Norwegian players with open arms due to their love of online gambling. Many of these sites even accept Krones as the main currency and offer their games in Norwegian.

Slots Are the Most Popular Online Casino Games in Norway

Despite being the most common casino game in Norway, slots have a fascinating history in this country. At first, these machines fell under the 1995 Lotteries Act category, which only permitted those with Charity gambling licenses to operate them. As a result, the revenue from these machines grew from kr200 million in 1990 to kr26 billion in 2004, a 64% gross turnover.

Later, in 2007, the Norwegian Government banned slot machines in the country due to the rise of problem gambling among its residents. But, they were later re-introduced in the state as interactive video terminals (IVT) under the surveillance of Norsk Tipping. Note that these games are unlike the regular slots in the UK or Las Vegas. This slot version requires a specific card to play them, and players must make wagers using a prepaid card and set pay-outs and limits.

However, those who prefer playing on regular slots can access them via offshore gambling sites, despite being illegal in Norway. Statistics show that the Government does not enforce the prohibitions listed in its laws, allowing Norwegian gamblers to enjoy real money slots.

Payment to International Gambling Sites

As we had mentioned earlier, a 2017 Norwegian Gambling Legislation prohibited its banks from authorizing payments to specific accounts in the offshore gambling business. Many of the operators with these numbers responded by changing their account numbers, curtailing the Government’s efforts to prohibit its residents from gambling on international sites.

As a result, new legislation proposes that banks block accounts after assessing their identity and dealings instead of merely securing account numbers. This will ensure unauthorized companies do not find their way around the law.

That is not to say that Norwegian players cannot fund their player accounts on offshore sites. However, the law will make many payment options inaccessible to Norwegian players, forcing them to use a licensed online casino Norway.

Conclusion

Although online gambling in Norway is subject to many rules and limitations, you can still play your favorite online games at a Norway casino. Whether you opt for an offshore site or a state-owned operator, you are sure to enjoy your online gambling adventure in Norway.

2023 NFL Draft Quarterback Watchlist

Summer scouting season is underway and it kicks off with the 2023 quarterback class. Here is my 2023 NFL Draft quarterback watchlist.

Top 5 2023 quarterback watchlist

Bryce Young

Alabama’s Bryce Young is coming off a heisman season and is looking to build off that as he’s regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the nation at making throws out of the pocket and out of structure.

Although, his draft stock may be hurt by his slight frame. Young looks more like a slot receiver compared to what a franchise quarterback is billed at.

Young led the Crimson Tide to a win in the SEC Championship game, becoming the only quarterback to beat the vaunted Georgia defense last season. In that game he was 26 of 44 passes for 421 yards and three touchdowns.

While the Crimson Tide ended up losing in the title game in the rematch against Georgia, Young showed throughout the season that he could play the position at a high level.

In the play above you see Young’s quick feet moving him to allow him a clean pocket. He throws a rope in-between two defenders outside the hash marks.

His anticipation and touch at this level makes him one of the top quarterbacks in the nation and number one in this 2023 quarterback watchlist.

C.J. Stroud

Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud is one of the most pro-ready quarterbacks in this class. He completed 72% of his passes in 2022. Stroud will look to build off what he did in the rose bowl game against Utah.

Stroud is accurate, aggressive, willing to attack the middle of the field, and reads the field extremely well as a passer.

Pre-snap, Utah show single-high coverage in the defensive backfield. However, the post-snap reality does not match the pre-snap expectations. The Utes defense converts into a two-deep shell.

Stroud, after opening to the left side of the field, reads the rotation and throws to the post route from Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

He’s a smart signal-caller who is a natural leader with great instincts and the ability to quickly cycle through his reads. Which makes him the second quarterback on my 2023 quarterback watchlist.

Tyler Van Dyke

There is excitement in the area around the Miami Hurricanes this season, mainly in part to new head coach Mario Cristobal. Tyler Van Dyke’s play last season is another big reason for that excitement.

In 2021 as a sophomore he played in 10 games as he passed for 2918 yards on 326 attempts with a completion percentage of 62 for an average of 9.0 yards per pass, with 25 TDs, while also taking 23 sacks, and putting up a QB rating of 108.9. After the first year as starting quarterback, he earned ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

This touchdown early in that contest is a good example of how well Van Dyke sees the field and throws with anticipation. He hits the post route for a touchdown on a switch concept, letting the ball fly as the receiver gets into his break.

Van Dyke is my third ranked prospect in this 2023 quarterback watchlist because of his processing skills. Also, he uses good technique, squaring his shoulders to the target and stepping into his throws

Will Levis

Kentucky’s Will Levis came from nowhere last year and is now looked at as a legitimate first-round talent. He has great physical gifts as well as good accuracy and powerful quick release as well a natural feel for the game

Levis offers a nice blend of size, arm strength and toughness. In the pocket, he has a good feel to climb and avoid pressure — and also possesses enough athleticism to extend plays with his legs.

If he can work on ball placement issues, and lower-body inconsistencies with his mechanics, he’ll live up to the hype.

The Wildcat product has an elite quick-release coupled with fast processing skills which makes him an ideal for a condensed formation offense, similar to the likes of the Rams.

Tanner McKee

In his first year starting at Stanford, Tanner McKee showcased a handful of NFL Traits. He has elite size for the position – stands 6-6 and weighs 230lbs and has the arm strength to match.

The Cardinals product accuracy is decent but his ball placement is one of his best traits overall. McKee shows excellent accuracy on short timing routes to backs and receivers. Slightly, he places the ball in front of receiver to lead them to potential yardage after the catch.

This completion against Oregon highlights two of his strengths: Aggression and ball placement. McKee is not afraid of challenging small throwing windows, and has no fear throwing over the middle. Couple that with accuracy, and McKee can have a solid foundation for the NFL.

He’s an intriguing pro prospect due to his obvious tangibles. McKee looks the part possessing prototypical drop-back passer qualities, is a quick decision-maker, and decent accuracy. He can easily transition into a pro-style offense which makes him the fifth prospect on the 2023 quarterback watchlist.

Gamble Like the Pros: Ways to Make a Profit

We believe there is not a single gambler out there who doesn’t want to become a pro at some point. Making a profit from gambling is the dream of most, if not all gamblers. But how does one become a pro? How can you make sure that you will be the one walking away with money in your pocket instead of debt?

There is no one answer to these questions. Every professional gambler has their own methods, tips, and tricks that they use to make a profit. However, there are some general things that all successful gamblers have in common. In this article, we will share with you some of the ways that pros make a profit from gambling.

  • They Pick the Right Gambling Platforms

Not all gambling platforms offer the same odds or chances of winning. The pros know this, and they make sure to do their research to find the platforms that offer them the best chance of winning. For example, a professional sports bettor will make sure to find a sportsbook that offers competitive odds and lines.

The same goes for casino gamblers. The pros will find the online casinos that offer the best bonuses, the highest payouts, and the lowest house edge. You should also find your best casino in Canada and best casino bonuses in Canada with great welcome bonuses and free spins. It’s a big booster when you join a 5$ deposit casino and start playing with little to no investments whatsoever.

By playing on these platforms, pro gamblers give themselves a much better chance of winning in the long run.

  • They Have a System

The most skilled gamblers always have some sort of system in place. This could be a system for picking horse winners, playing blackjack, or for betting on sports. Whatever the game may be, the pros have developed a method that they stick to in order to give themselves the best chance of winning.

We strongly suggest coming up with your own strategy or finding one that you can follow. There are many resources available that can help you develop a system for any type of gambling. For instance, you can follow the biggest gamblers to learn their methods.

  • They Manage Their Money Properly

Money management is one of the most important aspects of gambling like a pro. All advanced gamblers know that money management is key to success. That’s why they always have a set budget for gambling and never bet more than they can afford to lose. They also know when to quit while they’re ahead.

If you want to be a great gambler, you need to develop a sound money management strategy. There are so many different ways to do this, so try and find one that works for you and stick to it.

  • They Keep Emotions in Check

Gambling is a game of chance, and there will always be ups and downs. The best players know how to keep their emotions in check and not let their emotions affect their decisions. They know when to walk away from a game, and they never chase their losses.

If you want to be a successful gambler, you need to learn how to control your emotions. This is easier said than done, but it is possible. The best way to do this is to set limits for yourself before you start gambling. That way, you can walk away when you reach your limit and not chase your losses.

  • They Stay Disciplined

The most successful gamblers are always disciplined. They stick to their system, and they don’t let emotions or other factors influence their decisions. They are also constantly looking for ways to improve their game, and they are always learning.

If you want to be a successful gambler, you need to be disciplined. This means sticking to your system, not chasing your losses, and always trying to improve your game. It’s not easy, but it is possible.

The Bottom Line

If you want to be a profitable and successful gambler, you need to prepare well in advance. It means making a number of little steps such as:

  • Doing your research
  • Finding the best gaming platforms
  • Having a system in place
  • Managing your money properly
  • Keeping emotions in check
  • Staying disciplined
  • Knowing when to quit

Perhaps it sounds like too much, but it is doable if you can stay concentrated. Follow these suggestions, and you’ll be on your way to gambling like a pro in no time.

Miami Hurricanes

Miami Hurricanes add to loaded LB room with Malik Bryant commitment

The Miami Hurricanes continued their strong momentum for the 2023 recruiting class, as linebacker Malik Bryant committed to the program on Wednesday afternoon.

Bryant is a four-star linebacker. He is the fourth overall linebacker in the 2023 class, and the 15th overall player in the class from the state of Florida per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He was recruited by the likes of Florida, Maryland, Alabama, and Arizona State in addition to Miami. Bryant was recruited to the program by Charlie Strong. This is the second linebacker that Strong as recruited in the past month. He was also able to get a commitment from Raul Aguirre on July 12.

He transferred to IMG Academy in 2020, and was named an all-American in his  sophomore and junior seasons.

What can he bring to the Miami Hurricanes?

Although Bryant plays the linebacker position, , he can come off the edge effectively as well. As soon as the ball is snapped, he is able to fire off the ball and make a play. He has a good initial speed burst, and uses that speed burst to disrupt plays and the backfield. Bryant plays more like a defensive end tham linebacker.

Bryant is a player that can come in and immediately make an impact in the Miami Hurricanes linebacker room. They already have several impactful defensive players in Jayden Wayne and Aguirre. Bryant is another solid addition to a 2023 class that is extremely talented. They rank seventh overall in the country per the 247Sports Team Rankings. This gives Miami depth and not just a body, but talented depth.

Miami now has three players in this class alone that they can build a defense around. Some fans were upset that Miami struck out on recruits last week. This commitment was a big one.

The Miami Hurricanes have done a nice job of building the 2023 class, and Bryant’s commitment adds to it. Who’s next?

Casinos that Accept Paysafe in Australia

Since the online gambling business became legal in many countries, land-based casinos have disappeared, and more online casinos that accept paysafecard Australia have appeared, which propose all the same, but already in a web format.By the way, our OnlineCasinoAussie online casino Australia reviews can help you not have any problems.

The variety of online casinos in Australia amazes. It is also advisable to remember some key points related to safety and security.

  • Specify the true personal data.
  • It is forbidden to create more than one game account, to create bots or special software that provides any benefits.
  • Please note that cashout is possible only in the same way and in the same currency that you used to make the initial deposit in the casino, and there is no way to bypass this rule (you can find more information about this on OnlineCasinoAussie.com).
  • If you don’t want to win veggies, you don’t have to agree to participate in bonus programs.
  • Do not share your account information with anyone, do not share it with other people, and do not try to use the same IP address.

By following these basic requirements, you will save yourself from many problems: you will avoid conflicts with the AUS casino administration and you will not fall into the trap of fraudsters.

Types of online casinos

All online casinos are divided into main types. There are those with a gambling commission license and those without.

When you decide to play in an online casino for real money, you should check which organizations have audited the resource. Usually, points such as the operation of the random number generator, and the security of processing and storage of personal data are checked.

If the brand owners fearlessly post the results of the checks on the main page, you can not be afraid that you will become a victim of another scammer.

Advantages of online casino

It is difficult to find a sphere of public life that would not have its entire representation on the Internet. By visiting the Aussie online gambling sites, you receive several benefits.

  • It is possible not to leave the house; and if there is an app or other mobile solution, then access is provided from any Australian city and town where you receive 3G or Wi-Fi.
  • No land-based club can afford such many slot machines that the online casinos that accept paysafecard Australia offer to its clients.
  • Large and reliable institutions guarantee a high rate of return. They give free money and free spins. In some cases, they are deposit-free. Recently, new casinos set a minimum wager to attract customers. The simple terms of withdrawal of funds on the main balance are one of the key points for players (more details you can find on OnlineCasinoAussie.com).

Finally, it is completely anonymous. No one will know about your hobbies if you do not want to share your experiences.

Game through gadgets

If you are used to surfing the Internet using a phone or tablet, then we suggest you explore AU casinos that have a mobile version of the site or an app. They are produced for Android and iOS operating systems. Unfortunately, developers do not always offer options for all popular platforms, and blocking sites means that users are forced to look for a mirror.

For the most part, mobile casinos are similar to the main sites. You can use all the usual actions: spin your favourite slots, play cards, deposit and withdraw funds within the set limits.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we hope that our material has helped you understand the topic and our work on finding interesting casinos has become useful for both beginners and pros. We will regularly update the list of online casinos with the most promising ones and share with you useful information.
