Dainja played his senior season at Memphis, where he appeared in 35 games and started 19. He averaged 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.34 blocks, and 27.1 minutes per game while shooting an efficient 61.5 percent from the field. He helped Memphis finish with a 29-6 record, win the conference championship, and qualify for the NCAA Tournament. He shot 43.4 percent overall, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 76.1 percent from the free throw line. Keels led the Wolves in scoring, field goals made, and three-pointers made. He had 21 games of 20 or more points, including four 30-point efforts. Over three G League seasons with Iowa and Westchester, he has played in 79 regular season games, averaging 16.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.8 rebounds. He has also appeared in three NBA games with the Knicks.

Young signed a Two-Way Contract with the Chicago Bulls last season and split his time between the NBA and the G League. In 30 G League games with the Grand Rapids Gold and Windy City Bulls, he averaged 21.5 points, 7.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 34.5 minutes while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor and 86.1 percent at the free throw line. He had 20 games with 20 or more points, including four 30-point outings and a season-high 40 points on February 12. He also recorded eight double-doubles, most of which were points-assists, and 18 games with multiple steals. With Chicago, he appeared in six NBA games and scored 11 points with six assists and three rebounds while shooting 80 percent overall. He also had a standout Summer League performance in Las Vegas, scoring 37 points against Milwaukee, which set a Bulls Summer League scoring record (Miami Heat, NBA.com).
