Panthers PK Gives up Five Goals in Loss to Wild

SUNRISE — Despite conceding five times on the penalty kill, the Florida Panthers kept themselves in Friday night’s game until the final seconds before falling 6-4 to the Minnesota Wild.

Florida has dropped their past four games — all of which were at home — sliding to 27-14-4 on the season.

“Losing four in a row is tough,” Aaron Ekblad said. “Holding ourselves accountable to the hard, tough, strong, resilient, responsible game is important. We’re going to have to get back to scoring the first goal, taking care of leads, not taking penalties.”

Minnesota scored their first five goals of the game on the power play. It wasn’t until 11.8 seconds remaining in the game where they’d score their only non special team’s goal, by way of a Ryan Hartman empty netter.

The Wild were 5/6 on the man-advantage while the Panthers went 0/4. This was the first time all season where the Panthers conceded more than twice on the penalty kill.

Kirill Kaprizov and Ryan Hartman scored twice for the Wild. Joel Eriksson Ek, and Mats Zuccarello also scored. The Wild’s power play success had them up 5-2 early in the third period.

After going down 5-2, Anton Lundell and Gustav Forsling scored 17 seconds apart to make it a one-goal game with just under 12 minutes to go in regulation.  Eetu Luostarinen and Aaron Ekblad scored the other two Panthers goals. Ekblad tied his career-high with four-points in the game.

“Lundell was good… I liked Aaron Ekblad getting up the ice. Four-point night for him is real good,” coach Paul Maurice said. “After that we won’t be bragging about this one. This was a tough one for us.”

Lundell’s goal was his first since Nov. 22 on Friday. He had two points on the night, his first multi-point night since Dec. 8.

“I feel like we gave everything in the third. It wasn’t enough,” Lundell said. “We gave them too much in the start and today was too hard to get it back.”

The Panthers had 19 shots in the final period. 15 of Minnesota’s 26 shots came on the power play.

After cutting the deficit to one, the Panthers were pushing the Wild all period — controlling plenty of o-zone time with the goaltender pulled.

Filip Gustavsson made a few big saves down the stretch to keep the Wild ahead and Ryan Hartman iced off the game with an empty netter.

Game Notes

The Panthers were without captain Aleksander Barkov (lower-body) for a second consecutive game.

Will Lockwood left the game in the first period and did not return after getting knocked down in a fight with Wild forward Brandon Duhaime.  Maurice said an update on Lockwood would be provided on Saturday.

Both starting goalies left the game Friday night. The Panthers pulled Sergei Bobrovsky after he conceded his fourth goal of the night. Anthony Stolarz took over the crease.

Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury pulled himself from the game the same time Bobrovksy left. Filip Gustavsson took over the net for Minnesota.

Championship Hangover: What Is Going Wrong With Treble Contenders This Season

Introduction

Just a few months ago, City conquered global football.

By winning the Treble, Pep Guardiola’s side has already proved that they are the best! In the English Premier League and the Champions League, they have shown consistency and by far the best byproducts of football.

The secret behind their success?

Well, who can underestimate the prominence of Pep Guardiola?

A specimen of a great coach and an example of a deep passion for footballing tactics. He is not just the master of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, but he was the prime successful manager for Spanish giant Barcelona.

When he joined Manchester City as a coach in 2016, he took the team as a project to future success. And now we all can see the supremacy the team is showing to other teams.

However, after going through a dream season in 2022-23 with the Treble, 2023-24 is not going so great for City.

Treble hangover?

Considering last season’s incredible success with the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, it was a dream but tough to conquer, and they did it. However, believe it or not, the hangover of too much is there.

It extracts a lot from the players emotionally and physically. If you follow the soccer schedule or look properly at the current games, you will see that. Last year’s top performers are inconsistent this season.

Reasons Behind The Poor Form Of Manchester City In 2023-24

Manchester City, the reigning champions of the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, has been struggling to maintain its dominance in the 2023-24 season.

Despite their incredible success with the Treble in the previous season, the team’s performance this season could have been better, leaving fans and pundits wondering what is going wrong with the Treble contenders.

Here, we will try to explore the reasons behind Manchester City’s poor form in the ongoing season, including injuries, financial charges, and defensive issues that affect them by losing leads and opponents being bolder.

Injuries

De Bruyne’s recurring hamstring problem has certainly been a cause for concern for Manchester City, as it has sidelined him once again this season. This injury has troubled him for the final months of last season, and it seems to be a persistent issue that needs to be addressed.

Additionally, there have been other injuries within the team line that have made it difficult for City to maintain consistency in their performances.

These injuries have disrupted the team’s balance and have forced Guardiola to rotate his squad.

It’s never easy to cope with injuries, but City will have to find a way to manage their squad effectively if they want to get back to winning ways.

Financial Charges

The Premier League’s investigation into Manchester City for alleged breaches of financial rules is a cause for concern for the club.

The investigation reportedly involves over 100 alleged breaches, including providing inaccurate information, player and manager remuneration, and UEFA financial rules.

The Premier League has also accused City of not fully cooperating with investigations. The outcome of the investigation remains to be seen, as well as how it will affect the club’s future.

Conceding Goals

City’s defensive performance this season has been a matter of concern for the fans. The team has conceded 18 goals in the first 20 games of the season, which is a significant increase compared to last season’s performance of conceding only 0.87 goals per game.

This is a considerable difference and may be due to various reasons like injuries, tactical changes, and opposition teams being more aggressive.

Moreover, it is interesting to note that City has conceded 17 goals in their first 15 Premier League matches, which is the first time since the 2009-10 season. This indicates that some underlying issues may need to be addressed by the team’s management and coaching staff.

Losing Leads

It’s true that Manchester City has lost leads and gone behind several times this season, which is not something that their fans are used to seeing from the team that won the title last season.

However, despite these setbacks, the team is still one of the top contenders for the Premier League title this season, and their fans remain hopeful that they will bounce back and continue their winning streak.

No, Rodri, No Points

It’s hard to say if Rodri is Manchester City’s most important player. A team’s success depends on the collective efforts of all players. However, it’s evident that Rodri was a crucial figure in the team. His absence has been felt in the games that he has missed this season.

With four games missed due to suspension, City has lost all of them without the Spanish midfielder. His contribution to the team’s success last season was incredible. Especially scoring the winning goal in the Champions League final, cannot be overlooked.

Nonetheless, it’s important to note that City has other important players like Erling Haaland and Éderson, who play vital roles in the team’s success.

Left-Back Issues

It’s true that Manchester City has been struggling with the left-back position this season. The departure of Oleksandr Zinchenko, João Cancelo, and Benjamin Mendy in the summer transfer window has left the squad without a reliable left-back.

Moreover, the departure of Aymeric Laporte, who played as a left-back at times, has made things even more challenging. Guardiola will have to come up with a solution soon to fill this gap in the squad.

Poor Summer Transfers

Despite a successful £52 million signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, they have failed to keep quality players like Ilkay Gündogan and João Cancelo in the team.

This is a big back draw for them this season. While De Bruyne was absent due to injury, these players could have made a significant impact on the team.

City Building A New Premier League Reputation

Despite these challenges, City is still one of the top contenders for the Premier League title this season. They have placed themselves in the 2nd position comfortably after the return of De Bruyne.

Perhaps this blip was temporary!

Considering the 3-2 win against Newcastle, they set a new trend of coming back in the 2nd half! Well, this is not new for them, but they are doing it again and again.

Their fans are hopeful that they will overcome these obstacles and continue their winning streak.

Sioux Falls Spotlight: Bryson Warren

Everyone has dreams in life, but few people get to live their dreams. Bryson Warren is one of those few people. Like other people growing up, Warren had dreams of being a professional basketball player. Fast forward to today, and Warren is living out that dream on the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Getting to live his dream was not by accident, it was all methodically thought out.

Warren was a dominant player in high school. In his sophomore year, he averaged 24.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and added 2.5 steals a game. Warren would lead his team to the state title game and was named the Arkansas high school player of the year, the first sophomore ever to win the award. He was ranked the 14th player in his class at the time and had offers from many top programs around the country. This is when his path went unconventional. Instead of continuing High school basketball and then going to college, Warren decided to sign with Overtime Elite (OTE). Then after two years of OTE Warren chose to enter the G-League draft, where he was taken with the 13th overall pick by the Skyforce.

Not many players choose this route, so what was the thought process?

“I knew that going to OTE would put me in a position to play against the best competition which would allow me to get better,” Warren said. “Going against Amen and Ausar Thompson daily, who were just picked 4th and 5th in the NBA draft helped me improve my game tremendously. With a chance to be coached by Kevin Ollie, who won a National Championship and who is currently an assistant Coach with the Brooklyn Nets, is just an amazing learning experience.”

It was not about trying to be on social media or amassing followers, like other players’ motives for joining the league. It was about putting himself against the best competition he could be against, He wanted to improve his game.

Warren isn’t afraid of a challenge; he embraces it: “I realize that this is a business, so I have to give it my all every day.”

This quote suggests the reason how Warren can live his dreams, he is obsessed with being the best player he possibly be. Talk to anyone around Warren and they all mention one thing, his work ethic. It is impossible to have a conversation about him without it being brought up. Bryson Warren’s agent, James Dunleavy, raves about his work ethic. In a 10-minute conversation, Dunleavy constantly brought up how hard Warren works. “He went to the G-League to be the best player he can be” and “He loves to work hard and be in the gym” were just two of the things that Dunleavy said. His work ethic is also clear in his play on the court. No one on the Skyforce, and maybe the whole G-League, has improved more than Warren from the start of the year. From game to game, he looks more comfortable and is showing great progress. He started the year as a guy who could knock down open threes but has blossomed into a well-rounded player. He has shown his ability to be a point guard and run an offense. The numbers back this up also as he has increased every major statistic in the regular season over his averages in the Showcase part of the season. To make it in the world of basketball you have to be willing to give it everything you have, Warren is doing just that.

Arguably more impressive than his basketball talent is the type of person Bryson Warren is. Young players tend to have an adjustment period when they make the jump to high-level professional basketball. A lot of times they do not get the playing time they are used to and are relegated to roles they aren’t used to playing. Warren was no different, but what is different is how he managed it. Some players get upset and close themselves off as the frustration mounts, but Warren continues to display his character. He prides himself on being a good teammate and celebrating their success.

When asked what it takes to be a good teammate he says, “I always try to respect, encourage and help my teammates be the best they can be, because it takes a team to win.” He is all about the team’s success and, though he has personal goals, he wants his teammates to succeed as well. A perfect example of his character is when I asked what made him proud of himself. I expected a typical answer to be about his basketball achievements and what he has been able to do on the court, but that was not the case.

He replied, “One of the things that I am proud of is being able to give back to the community. I have been blessed to be able to help sponsor boys’ and girls’ basketball teams that are named after me – Bryson Warren United. This allows me to be a positive role model in their lives and give back to the community.”

Given an opportunity to list his achievements and boast about his basketball career, he chose to highlight what he does off the court. He has more pride in how he can help others than his achievements. He also is not hesitant to recognize everyone who helped him along the way. Though he was afraid to list everyone, in case he missed someone, he wanted to let his coaches and trainers know that he was “thankful and grateful” for their help and support. Warren did list two people though. Who are the two specific people that Bryson Warren wanted to make sure were specifically mentioned? They go by the simple names of Mom and Dad. See Warren is a special player and has the chance to have an extensive career but the best part about him has nothing to do with his play on the court, and everything to do with who he is off the court.

Panthers Lose in Overtime to Red Wings, Drop Their Last Three

SUNRISE — The Florida Panthers dropped their third consecutive game on Wednesday night, losing 3-2 in overtime to the Detroit Red Wings at Amerant Bank Arena.

With the Red Wings on the power play in OT, captain Dylan Larkin scored his 18th of the season to give Detroit their 23rd win of the season.

The Panthers have lost their past two games in overtime. They sit at 27-13-4 with the result.

Here’s some takeaways from the game.

Yes, Sam Reinhart scored again

No. 13 scored, what else is new?

Sam Reinhart entered Wednesday’s contest second in the NHL with 32 goals — trailing just Auston Matthews (34).

Reinhart’s linemate Aleksander Barkov missed the game with a lower-body injury, so head coach Paul Maurice reunited Reinhart with Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen — his linemates for most of last postseason.

The absence of Barkov was a big hole for the team to fill, but the Panthers’ leading scorer was able to continue what he’s done all season — score.

5:38 into the second period, Reinhart broke the deadlock with a short handed goal — his 33rd of the season.

With the goal, Reinhart equaled his career-high, which he set in 78 games during the 2021-2022 season with the Panthers.

This time, it took just 44 games to hit 33.

“It feels like he’s in the right spot all the time,” Lundell said of Reinhart. “He touches the puck and most of the time it’s in the net.”

Reinhart also scored his 500th career point on the play.

Anton Lundell slots in the top line with Aleksander Barkov out

Florida never wants to play without their captain, especially with the dominant season he’s had centering the top line with Sam Reinhart and Evan Rodrigues.

Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen moved up to the first line, joining Reinhart in the absence of Barkov.

While Barkov is impossible to replace, Lundell looked good given the situation he was put in.

The 22-year-old center picked up the primary assist on Sam Reinhart’s opening goal. Lundell snapped a three-game pointless streak with the helper.

“I liked his game,” coach Paul Maurice said of Lundell.

Lundell has points in two of his last five games after going nine straight games without a point in the stat sheet.

Panthers lose another game in overtime

A late hooking penalty — a questionable one in the eyes of many in the arena — ended up being a killer for the Panthers Wednesday night.

Late in a tied game, Aaron Ekblad was called for a hooking penalty with 38 seconds remaining in regulation.

Florida was able to get through the remainder of the third unscathed — picking up an OT point in their second straight game. But they’d still be at a disadvantage going into the extra frame.

Detroit’s power play carried over into overtime and despite the penalty killing efforts by Florida, the Wings were able to make the most of their 4-on-3 advantage off of Dylan Larkin’s 18th goal of the season.

The Panthers have now lost back-to-back games in overtime, while dropping their past three games — all at home.

“We’ve lost one. We’ve lost two in overtime,” Maurice said. “I’m disappointed. The thing I’m most frustrated with tonight I’m not answering.

This comes after Florida’s season best nine-game winning streak came to an end last week against New Jersey.

Look ahead

Florida will be back one more time at home on Friday to wrap up their five-game homestand when the Minnesota Wild come to town.

The Wild shutout the Panthers 2-0 on Oct. 12 in the first game of the season.

Comparative Analysis of Online and Offline Casino Experiences

The world of gambling has evolved dramatically over the years, offering enthusiasts a plethora of options for indulging in their favorite pastime. Traditionally, people would flock to brick-and-mortar casinos to try their luck at slot machines, roulette tables, and card games. However, with the advent of technology, online casinos have surged in popularity, providing a convenient alternative to the traditional casino experience. In this blog post, we will conduct a comparative analysis of online and offline casino experiences to help you make an informed choice.

Accessibility and Convenience

One of the most notable benefits of online casinos is their ease of access and convenience. According to Grand Mondial Casino Winners, you can enjoy your favorite casino games from the comfort of your home without the need to travel to a physical casino. This is particularly appealing to those who live far from a casino or have busy schedules. Online casinos are available 24/7, allowing you to play at any time that suits you. In contrast, offline gambling houses often have limited operating hours, and you need to factor in travel time and other logistics.

Game Variety

Online casinos tend to offer a broader range of games compared to their offline counterparts. You can find a vast selection of slot machines, table games, and even live dealer games. This variety ensures that there is always something new and exciting to try, catering to different preferences and skill levels. Offline gambling houses, on the other hand, may have limitations in terms of the number and types of games they offer.

Social Interaction

One of the aspects where offline casinos shine is the social interaction they provide. Going to a physical casino allows you to enjoy the ambiance, interact with other players, and even engage in conversations with dealers. It’s an excellent opportunity to socialize and meet new people who share your interest in gambling. Online gambling houses, while offering multiplayer options, lack the same level of in-person interaction and can feel isolating for some players.

Bonuses and Promotions

Online casinos are renowned for their abundant bonuses and promotions, capable of substantially enhancing your bankroll. From welcome bonuses to free spins and loyalty programs, these perks can enhance your gaming experience and increase your chances of winning. Offline gambling houses, while they may offer some promotions, typically cannot match the level of bonuses available in the gambling world.

Conclusion

In conclusion, both online and offline gambling houses have their own unique advantages and drawbacks. The choice between the two ultimately depends on your personal preferences and circumstances. If you value convenience, a wide variety of games, and lucrative bonuses, casinos may be the better choice for you. However, if you seek a more social and immersive gambling experience, visiting a physical casino could be the way to go. Ultimately, the decision should align with your gaming style and what you hope to gain from your casino experience.

Miami Heat takeaways as first half of season closes

The Miami Heat have settled into the second tier of the Eastern Conference. They currently stand at 5th in the standings. This team is still hard to judge and predict as it has continued to be riddled with injuries all year. Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler have played less than 10 games together. With that being said let us talk about some things standing out for the Heat.

Jovic flashing

Nikola Jovic has carved out a role for himself. Jovic originally got an opportunity due to injuries for other players, but he took advantage of the opportunity. Jovic has averaged 7.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in his last 7 games. This has been the most promising stretch of his career. It needs to be mentioned that Jovic has looked much more comfortable since coming back from his G-League assignment. Getting playing time grew his confidence and has made him a more complete player. He has shown that he is the best transition player the Heat have. He is the only player that I trust in transition. He consistently makes the right reads and is converting his transition opportunities.

He does not have any doubt in his decision-making, and his decisiveness leads to results. Jovic is not afraid to get a rebound and then take the ball up the court. He looks seamless. This helps increase the Heat’s pace and does not let the defense set themselves, leading to easy baskets. One thing that has surprised me about Jovic is his defense. Jovic is not known as a defender by any means, but his improvement over the season cannot be understated. He is learning how to use his frame to his advantage and is no longer fouling every defensive possession. It is important to remember Jovic is still young and has time to develop. There will be ups and downs, as progress is not linear. We are starting to see the potential that Jovic has on a more consistent basis though. Jovic deserves a spot in the rotation moving forward, there is no doubt about it.

Herro rebounding

The Heat needed Tyler Herro to come out of a slump, and he delivered. Herro has become a constant talking point for any Heat fan. This is the life of a young fringe All-Star who is the center of trade talks. This was escalated during Herro’s recent struggles. Herro plays a vital role on this team, which is simply, to be a go-to scorer. In January, he’s mostly struggled, and the Heat has been worse for it. This was until Herro changed the game against the Brooklyn Nets on January 15th. The Heat were coming off a 31-point first half (not a typo, I know shocking) and had not hit a three all night.

Then magic happened and Herro nailed back-to-back threes and was cooking the rest of the night. Herro made 5 one legged floaters and was flat-out unstoppable. Herro also nailed several important shots down the stretch and displayed his clutch gene once again, nailing a floater in the final seconds to give the Heat a lead in the final seconds of regulation. The Nets would then go on to tie the game and force overtime. In overtime, the Nets got out to a 5-point lead and the game looked over until Herro once again clawed the Heat back with 2 more threes. Herro had 17 points in the 2nd half and 6 of the Heat’s 8 points in OT.  Herro changed the game, and they would not have won without him. He finished with a final stat line of 29/11/22 on 50% shooting. This was his best game since the start of the new year. I think this game could be a jolt back to the All-Star level we were seeing earlier in the year.

Back in the muck

The mud is a blessing. It is no secret that the Heat are not a dazzling offensive team or even a fast one. They play slow and force their opponents to play slow. At times this can be very frustrating, but it is where they seem to be the most comfortable, as they have played this style for years. I have joked for years now that Heat fans just need to suffer through the regular season to enjoy the playoffs, which is true to a degree. 82 games of grind-it-out basketball can be draining and hard to watch at times. You have to be a true sicko to enjoy it (me, I’m the sicko).

There is beauty in the struggle, it’s competition, and it doesn’t have to be pretty. Do you think it’s a coincidence that the team that plays the ugliest games in the regular season consistently “overperforms” in the playoffs when games are naturally more of a struggle? I would argue no. For the whole Jimmy Era, the Heat have thrived in the playoffs. In the playoffs nothing but a W matters. The games are not always pretty and have plenty of adversity. I argue that the regular season struggle and constant fight prepare them for adversity and give them comfort in it. They know they can bring any game into the “mud” and more times than not they will succeed. They are battle-tested in ugly basketball. Most teams panic and struggle to find ways to win when their game isn’t going how they planned. For the Heat, it is just another basketball game. I implore you to look at Spo for guidance on how to feel. He LOVES the struggle and fight.

He wants his team to find ways to win even when they aren’t playing their best. The times Spo smiles the biggest are after games that he classifies as “mud.” So next time the Heat are in the ugliest basketball game known to man, just think how sweet those playoff Ws will feel, that no one else saw coming.

Takeaways: Panthers lose in Overtime to Ducks

SUNRISE — The Florida Panthers dropped their second straight game on Monday, losing 5-4 in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks.

The Ducks overcame two, two-goal deficits as they handed the Panthers their second consecutive loss.

Alex Killorn scored twice, including the OT winner as the Ducks picked up their 15th win of the season.

Florida dropped to 27-13-3 with the loss.

Here’s three game takeaways.

Sam Bennett lights the lamp twice

Panthers forward Sam Bennett scored twice on Monday — leading all Panthers in goals

Bennett opened the game’s scoring on the power play with his ninth goal of the season 8:29 into the first.

He would score his tenth of the season 12:49 into the second — giving the Panthers a 4-2 lead.

“I think our line is finding our chemistry that we ended the year with,” Bennett said. “We’re feeling good together. We’re making plays again and I’m enjoying playing with those guys.”

The Bennett, Verhaeghe, Tkachuk line combined for five points.

“Well they’re going,” coach Paul Maurice spoke of the line, “We’ve got that line going, we’re gonna get the Lundell line going.”

Special Teams Puck

Monday’s matinee wasn’t forgiving for those who don’t play special teams minutes.

There were a total of nine power plays and 15 penalties between the sides. The Ducks went to the man-advantage five times to the Panthers’ four.

Both teams scored once while shorthanded. The Panthers won the power play battle, capitalizing twice with the extra man. Anaheim went 0/5 on the powerplay.

While the Panthers PK continued their stronghold and the power play scored multiple goals, it still wasn’t enough on Monday for the Panthers.

No lead Too Big, No Lead Too Safe

The earlier than usual start time (1 p.m. puck drop) led to an even more unusual game.

Florida opened the game with consecutive goals from the Sams — Bennett and Reinhart.

Considering how solid the Panthers have been defensively this season, the early 2-0 lead looked to be the beginning of a runaway.

That was until Alex Killorn got the Ducks on the board with 4 seconds remaining in the first — on just their fourth shot of the game.

Anaheim would carry the momentum of Killorn’s late goal into the second.

Adam Henrique scored his 11th goal of the season 5:24 into the period — tying the game at 2-2.

“I think we took it too lightly,” Bennett said. “We got up by a couple goals and started playing a little too comfortable.”

Florida didn’t let the erasure of their two goal lead affect them too much however.

Carter Verheaghe reclaimed the Panthers lead with his 23rd goal of the year 9:36 into the period. Bennett would once again double Florida’s lead three minutes later with his second of the game.

The Panthers lost their first two-goal advantage, but after getting it back, surely it wouldn’t happen again.

It happened again.

Jakob Silfverberg cut the deficit to one before the second intermission, then Troy Terry tied the game 3:45 into the third.

“I think we weren’t playing hard enough,” Verheaghe said. “I think we were a little sloppy in some areas. We got a little run and gun.”

Florida would pick up a point in overtime, but the Ducks took the win off of Alex Killorn’s game winner.

Panthers Notes

Captain Aleksander Barkov didn’t play in the final five-plus minutes on Monday. Coach Paul Maurice said it was a precautionary move and that they expect him to play Wednesday against Detroit.

5 Guidelines For Properly Storing THC Oil To Maximize Its Shelf Life

When it comes to maintaining the potency and flavor of your THC oil, proper storage is crucial. Tetrahydrocannabinol oil, just like many other cannabis-infused products, is prone to degradation over time if not stored correctly. It can reduce effectiveness and alter taste, leading to a less enjoyable experience overall.

In this article, we will guide you through five essential steps that will ensure your CBDfx THC oil stays fresh, potent, and at its peak quality for as long as possible. By following these steps, you’ll be able to maximize its shelf life and fully immerse yourself in the satisfying and delightful experience that Tetrahydrocannabinol oil has to offer.

So, let’s dive in and discover the secrets to preserving the full potential of your THC oil!

What Is the Average Shelf Life of THC Oil?

THC oil is a favorite choice of many cannabis enthusiasts due to its potency and easy-to-use nature. However, the shelf life of Tetrahydrocannabinol oil may vary depending on several aspects, such as the quality of the oil, the extraction method used, and the storage conditions. On average, Tetrahydrocannabinol oil can last for up to a year when stored correctly. However, light, air, and heat exposure can significantly reduce its shelf life.

To ensure the longevity of Tetrahydrocannabinol oil, it is essential to store it in a cool, dark place, away from light and heat sources. Proper storage also prevents the oil from oxidizing, which can cause a change in flavor, color, and potency. Overall, while the shelf life of THC oil can vary, proper storage is crucial to maintain its quality over time.

5 Guidelines for Properly Storing THC Oil to Maximize Its Shelf Life

Store THC oil in a cool and dark place to prevent exposure to light and heat.

When it comes to storing THC oil, there are certain guidelines you should follow to maximize its shelf life and maintain its potency. One of the easiest ways to ensure that your oil stays fresh for as long as possible is to store it in a cool and dark place. Light and heat can cause Tetrahydrocannabinol oil to break down and lose potency over time, so it’s important to keep it away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, such as stoves and ovens.

A cool, dark cabinet or drawer is the ideal spot to store your THC oil, as it will be protected from both light and heat.

Keep THC oil away from moisture, which can cause mold growth and spoilage.

One important factor to consider when storing THC oil is the presence of moisture. When it is exposed to moisture, it becomes susceptible to contamination from mold or bacteria, leading to spoilage and degradation of the oil’s quality. To avoid these issues, it is crucial to store it in an airtight container that is tightly sealed, avoiding any moisture from entering.

Additionally, it is recommended to use a container specifically designed for oil storage, preferably made from materials like glass or stainless steel that do not react with the oil, ensuring the integrity and longevity of the stored oil. By taking these precautions, you can safeguard the potency and freshness of your THC oil for an extended period.

Always store the cannabis oil in airtight containers to reduce the risk of oxidation and degradation.

To reduce the risk of oxidation and degradation, it is crucial to store THC oil in airtight containers. Oxygen can gradually break down the oil, resulting in a loss of potency and flavor over time. Therefore, it is essential to protect the oil from exposure to oxygen by storing it in tightly sealed containers.

Glass bottles or jars with airtight lids are highly recommended for preserving the quality of Tetrahydrocannabinol oils and ensuring their long-term freshness. By taking these precautions, you can maintain the potency and flavor of your THC oil for a longer period, enhancing your overall experience.

Avoid frequent exposure to air, as it can lead to oxidation and reduction in potency.

To maintain the potency and effectiveness of THC oil, it is crucial to minimize its exposure to air. When Tetrahydrocannabinol oil comes into contact with air, it undergoes oxidation, resulting in a gradual loss of potency over time. This oxidation process can significantly impact the oil’s effectiveness. To mitigate the risk of oxidation, it is recommended to store your cannabis oil in a tightly sealed, airtight container.

Additionally, limiting the frequency of opening the container is advisable to further minimize air exposure and ensure the longevity of the oil’s potency. By following these precautions, you can preserve the quality of your THC oil and maximize its efficacy.

Store THC oil away from children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion.

THC oil may pose a significant risk if ingested in large quantities. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to ensure that it is stored in a place that is out of reach for little ones and inaccessible to curious pets. By adhering to these guidelines, not only can you ensure the freshness and effectiveness of your THC oil, but you can also guarantee the safety of your loved ones and furry companions. So, take the extra step to find a secure storage spot, ensuring peace of mind for you and those around you.

Final Thoughts

Proper storage of THC oil is essential to maximize its shelf life and ensure that the product remains potent and effective. By following these five guidelines, you can extend the lifespan of your Tetrahydrocannabinol oil and safeguard your investment. Always store your oil in a cool, dark, and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Keep the cannabis oil properly sealed in an airtight container, away from oxygen, moisture, and contaminants. Labeling your oil with a date of purchase is recommended to keep track of its age and avoid consuming an expired product. By adhering to these basic storage tips, you can enjoy your THC oil for longer, ensure its potency, and avoid waste or damage to your product.

Panthers win streak ends with 4-1 loss to Devils

SUNRISE — The Florida Panthers nine-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday as they fell 4-1 to the New Jersey Devils.

From the drop of the puck, the heavily depleted Devils were on their A-game in Sunrise.

Alexander Holtz and Jesper Bratt scored in the first period to give the Devils an important 2-0 lead.

This was the first time the Panthers conceded multiple goals in the first period since their Dec. 14 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.

The beginning of the second wasn’t much better for Florida.

3:51 into the period, Erik Haula scored to give the Devils a three goal lead on just their 13th shot of the game.

Florida didn’t have much going for them in the game, but one thing that could get some juice going was a power play — and that’s what they got.

The Panthers got their first man-advantage with 2:28 to go in the second.

Sam Reinhart would score his 31st goal of the season and league leading 16th on the power play  with 33 seconds remaining in the period. Matthew Tkachuk extended his point streak to eight games with the primary assist on Reinhart’s goal.

New Jersey led 3-1 entering the third.

Florida pushed for the comeback in the final frame, but a strong performance from Devils’ goaltender Nico Daws kept the explosive Panthers offense out of the net.

Daws finished the game with 36 saves for his third win off the season.

John Marino sealed away an empty netter for the 4-1 win.

“That was a mature game by our team. That was hard, that was a heavy game,” head coach Paul Maurice said. “We weren’t at full speed, and I don’t hold that against them at all.”

The Panthers moved to 27-13-2 with the loss.

Panthers Notes

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was selected to his third NHL All-Star game on Saturday. After being selected through the fan vote, Bobrovsky will join Sam Reinhart as Florida’s All-Star representatives in Toronto.

The Panthers next game will be a 1 p.m. puck drop on Monday, Jan. 15 against the Anaheim Ducks.

With the Ducks in town, former Panthers’ defenseman Radko Gudas will be back in Sunrise for the first time in last season’s Stanley Cup Final. Gudas, 33, signed with the Ducks over the summer after spending the past three seasons with the Panthers (2020-2023).

Panthers defeat Kings in OT Thriller, Extend Win Streak to Nine

SUNRISE — The Florida Panthers were back at Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday night to deliver another Cardiac Cats worthy performance in their 3-2 overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings.

Matthew Tkachuk tied the game late to force overtime and Sam Reinhart won it with 0.7 seconds remaining.

The Panthers extended their season best win streak to nine straight with the victory.

Here’s some takeaways from the game.

Sam Bennett gets eighth goal of the season

Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk have been having a ball as of late in the points department.

Entering Thursday’s matchup against the Kings,  Tkachuk had 13 points in his last five games, while Verhaeghe had 10 points.

The third member of that Florida second line, Sam Bennett, had less of an offensive impact over that span with four points.

With the Panthers trailing 1-0 against the Kings, Bennett would tie the game with his eighth goal of the season 10:58 into the second.

As Florida’s power play winded down, Bennett led the rush through the neural zone, drove the net and deflated in Eetu Luostarinen’s pass to get the Panthers on the board.

Bennett has 15 points in 29 games this season.

Tkachuk saves the day

We’ve already highlighted the great stretch Matthew Tkachuk has had over the last few contests.

He did it again on Thursday.

Down one, goalie pulled, Florida needed a goal. Tkachuk delivered.

With 2:18 left in the third, Carter Verheaghe fired a shot near the right circle and Tkachuk got a stick on it to deflect the puck up and over Cam Talbot –tying the game at 2-2.

“[We] just try to throw everything at the net and get people to the net,” Tkachuk said when recalling the goal. “Luckily it hit off my stick.”

Tkachuk extended his point streak to seven and goal streak to five on Thursday. Verhaeghe also extended his point streak to seven.

Sam Reinhart hits 30 goals, scores last-second OT winner

Florida clawed back to tie the game with 2:18 left in the third period to force over time.

In the extra frame, the Panthers got a glorious opportunity —  they’d go to the power play with 1:23 remaining after Adrian Kempe cross-checked Brandon Montour.

On the 4-on-3 power play, Florida wasn’t generating a whole lot of offense, getting just one shot on goal on the power play until the final seconds.

With the clock running down, LA cleared the zone one final time. With just a few seconds remaining, it seemed as if this game was going to a shootout.

The Florida crowd urged the Panthers to make one final push — and they did.

After entering the zone with less than ten seconds to go , Aleksander Barkov hit Sam Reinhart in front of the Kings’ net.

Reinhart wired a backhand shot top shelf over Cam Talbot, beating the clock with just 0.7 seconds remaining to win the game, and get his 30th goal of the season.

“It’s going well for us. We’re really in the moment, taking it day by day,” Reinhart said. “This was a really tough test… I liked our battle, I liked our compete.”

After tonight’s contest, Reinhart has scored 30 goals, 53 points in 41 games. He’s on pace for 60 and 106.

Panthers notes
